The likely reading is that "Adobe Town" is the internal scene name and "Apache" is the player-facing name for one town. If so, Apache is not new content — only the quest inside it is. See [[Locations]] for the full working.

Overview

Apache is a desert town on the north side of the Desert Lake, just below the pipe that starts Desert Adventure (verified in-game, 2026-08-26). It is the hub for that quest, and the only settlement documented in the desert besides Adobe Town — which may in fact be the same place, see below.

Layout

Confirmed features, all from Desert Adventure (verified in-game, 2026-08-26):

  • A south-eastern building where Mara stands. She attacks when spoken to, and drops a key.
  • A hatch inside that building, opened with Mara's key, leading down through a fake wall into a cavern.
  • The cavern's lower floor, followed along the right-hand wall, leads to Jesse's Factory.

Position

x 201, y 0, z 69 — the destination of Apache Teleport (client data, 2026-08-27). This is the only hard coordinate recorded for the town.

Is Apache the same place as Adobe Town?

Probably, though it is not confirmed. Three things point that way:

  • The teleport destination sits 5.0 units from the Adobe Town region's position. For scale, Greentown Teleport — where destination and region are known to be the same place — lands 21.5 units from its own region. Apache's match is four times tighter than that known-good case.
  • The client's shop id for Buns Remilio's shop is apache_general_store. Buns Remilio was confirmed in-game on 2026-07-08 to keep his shop in Adobe Town, across from the furnace.
  • Both are desert settlements with no snow.
  • They fall in the same world tile (3-1) under the client's 64-unit tile grid. This is coarser than the distance measure — the datamined "payatown" region shares that tile too — but it is consistent, and the same test on Greentown Teleport correctly puts that destination in its own region's tile.

The likely reading is that "Adobe Town" is the internal scene name and "Apache" is the player-facing name for one town. If so, Apache is not new content — only the quest inside it is. See Locations for the full working.

This has not been checked by standing in the town and reading its name, which is all it would take to settle.

Help verify whether Apache and Adobe Town are one settlement or two; whether the desert bank, furnace, and anvil are reachable from Mara's building Accepted evidence: a location-title screenshot taken in Apache.
