Stamina: Difference between revisions

From SankoQuest Wiki
Adds XP Formula section: Stamina gains damage×1 XP on every combat hit (melee or Archery), on top of the damage×4 combat-skill split, confirmed by the 1-damage/2-damage worked examples; explicitly notes Magic combat's Stamina XP is unconfirmed and not assumed to match.
Extends XP Formula section to include Magic (1dmg->1 Stamina XP alongside 4 Magic XP; 2dmg->2 Stamina XP alongside 8 Magic XP); replaces the old "Magic combat was not covered by this report" sentence with the confirmation + splash caveat; adds a Magic bullet under Related, a new SourceEvidence row, and updates the existing MissingData/BountyPrompt to narrow the open question to splash-only Stamina XP. Surgical diff against live fetch confirmed — old caveat fully removed, no duplicate sections.

Stamina gains XP from every combat hit, regardless of combat style — melee or Archery alike — at a rate of damage dealt × 1 (confirmed in-game, July 2026). Confirmed worked examples: a hit dealing 1 damage — which separately gave 4 Strength XP under Strength's pure style — also gave 1 Stamina XP; a hit dealing 2 damage (8 Strength XP) also gave 2 Stamina XP. The rate scales linearly with damage dealt.

This damage × 1 rate was confirmed for melee and Archery hits only. Magic combat was not covered by this report at all whether Magic hits grant Stamina XP, and if so at what rate, is unconfirmed; do not assume it follows the same rule.
Magic combat hits follow this same rule: a 1-damage Magic hit grants 1 Stamina XP (alongside 4 Magic XP), and a 2-damage Magic hit grants 2 Stamina XP (alongside 8 Magic XP), confirmed in-game, July 2026 — see [[Magic#Combat XP]]. This resolves an earlier caveat here that Magic combat had not been covered. Magic also has a splash case, unique to that skill: landing a hit for 0 damage ("splashing") still grants a flat 2 Magic XP, but whether it also grants any Stamina XP was not stated. Following the damage × 1 formula literally (0 damage × 1 = 0) suggests none, but this specific case is presumed rather than confirmed treat splash Stamina XP as an open question, not an established zero.

Stamina

Stamina is one of SankoQuest's 15 confirmed skills and one of the four skills that track combat progression, alongside Attack, Strength, and Defense (verified in-game, July 2026). Stamina is the game's health analog. There is no single "Combat" skill in the skill panel; weapons, armor, mobs, drops, and other content shared across the combat skills are collected on the Combat hub. Exact in-game capitalization needs a skill-panel screenshot. How Stamina relates to health, its max level, and its XP curve are not yet documented.

Training

Early combat training spots (verified in-game, July 2026) are the camp of four aggressive level 2 Goblins west of the desert copper and tin rocks and the level 12 goblins near the grass-zone church — see the New Player Guide. Which of the four combat skills these spots train is unconfirmed.

XP Formula

Stamina gains XP from every combat hit, regardless of combat style — melee, Archery, or Magic alike — at a rate of damage dealt × 1 (confirmed in-game, July 2026). This is separate from, and in addition to, the damage × 4 total combat-skill XP that same hit sends to Attack, Strength, Defense, Archery, or Magic under the base combat XP formula; see Combat#Combat XP Formula for how that total is split by style. Stamina's damage × 1 always applies on top of that split, never instead of it.

Confirmed worked examples: a hit dealing 1 damage — which separately gave 4 Strength XP under Strength's pure style — also gave 1 Stamina XP; a hit dealing 2 damage (8 Strength XP) also gave 2 Stamina XP. The rate scales linearly with damage dealt.

Magic combat hits follow this same rule: a 1-damage Magic hit grants 1 Stamina XP (alongside 4 Magic XP), and a 2-damage Magic hit grants 2 Stamina XP (alongside 8 Magic XP), confirmed in-game, July 2026 — see Magic#Combat XP. This resolves an earlier caveat here that Magic combat had not been covered. Magic also has a splash case, unique to that skill: landing a hit for 0 damage ("splashing") still grants a flat 2 Magic XP, but whether it also grants any Stamina XP was not stated. Following the damage × 1 formula literally (0 damage × 1 = 0) suggests none, but this specific case is presumed rather than confirmed — treat splash Stamina XP as an open question, not an established zero.

Skill Panel Display (Datamine, 2026-07-08)

Client code shows what the "X/Y" numbers on the Stamina skill tile actually represent: it's a current-HP-over-max-HP health readout, not a raw level or XP figure. The denominator is the entity's max health (entity.maxHealth, falling back to max(10, staminaLevel) if unset); the numerator is round(healthRatio × denominator). This is a datamine-candidate technical detail — it explains what's on screen, it does not resolve how Stamina level maps to max health in general.
