Training Progression
The early training route, verified in-game (July 2026): crawdads from level 1 to 15, brown trout from 15 to 25, bubba bass from 25 to 35, and catfish from level 35 onward. The catch was noted in play simply as "trout"; Raw Brown Trout is the only trout-type catch in the item catalog, so it is identified as brown trout here (exact species unconfirmed). These bands are a training route, not confirmed per-catch level gates; minimum Fishing level requirements per catch, XP per catch, and catch rates are not yet documented. Which tool each catch requires is also unconfirmed — the tutorial has the player catch a crawdad with a Fishing Net, but tool requirements at the mainland spots have not been verified.

Fishing Spot Locations
All currently documented spots were verified in-game on 2026-07-05. An in-game world-map screenshot supporting the zone layout is uploaded as File:World map overview.png. The desert zone — the north-west island with the lake — has no confirmed proper name yet.
- Crawdad spots — south of the desert lake, around the post-tutorial spawn area in the desert zone.
- Brown trout spots — three spots at the desert lake itself, north of the crawdad spots.
- Bubba bass spot — in the grass zone near the cow field, reached by crossing the bridge east out of the desert zone.
- Catfish — location unknown.
