Skills

SankoQuest has 15 skills, confirmed by a first-person player report dated 2026-07-05. Each skill groups the game's tools, resource nodes, recipes, and training into one hub per activity. The reporting player typed the skill names in lowercase, so exact in-game capitalization is unverified until a skill-panel screenshot is captured; the census below uses conventional capitalization. Max levels and XP curves still need gameplay verification across the board.

Confirmed Skills

All 15 rows are player-verified (player report, 2026-07-05). Skills without a hub page yet appear as red links.

Skill Covers Hub page
Attack Combat skill No hub yet — combat content is collected on Combat
Strength Combat skill No hub yet — combat content is collected on Combat
Defense Combat skill No hub yet — combat content is collected on Combat
Stamina Combat skill; described by the player as the game's health analog No hub yet — combat content is collected on Combat
Fishing Fish, rods, nets, and fishing spots Fishing
Cooking Raw food, cooked food, and fires Cooking
Mining Ores, rocks, and pickaxes Mining
Smithing Bars, tools, armor, and furnaces Smithing
Woodcutting Logs, axes, and trees Woodcutting
Firemaking Lighting logs (tutorial-confirmed: lighter on a log) No hub yet
Archery Ranged combat with bows and arrows; described by the player as the game's ranged-combat skill No hub yet
Crafting Covers fletching (arrow shafts and bows cut with the Crafting Knife) per the player report. Whether any skill tracks flax processing at the Textile Workbench is unknown (see Weaving) No hub yet — datamined fletching content currently sits on Fletching
Psalms Described by the player as the game's prayer analog; in-game mechanics are entirely unverified No hub yet
Magic Spellbook and shard costs Magic
Mixnometry Crafting elemental Shards from feathers, raw crawdads, copper ore, oak logs, and bones at altars No hub yet

Combat is a content hub, not a skill: the census confirms four separate combat skills (Attack, Strength, Defense, and Stamina), and the Combat page collects the weapons, armor, mobs, and drops shared across them.

Datamine Labels That Are Not Skills

The skill field of datamined resource-node rows names several labels that are absent from the player-listed skill census (2026-07-05). A label is not a skill until it is seen in the skill panel; these are node labels only.

Label Referenced by Action verb What it is
Weaving Textile Workbench Node weave Station interaction that processes Flax; whether any skill or XP tracks it is unknown — see Weaving
Banking Bank Node bank Bank access, not a trainable activity — see Banking
Foraging Flax Node pick Node action label
Smelting Furnace Node smelt Furnace action label; player-verified furnace recipes are recorded on Smelting
Interact Door Node open Generic interaction label

Fletching is likewise a datamine label rather than a skill: the player report places fletching under the Crafting skill. The Fletching hub keeps its datamined bow and arrow content under that label until a Crafting hub exists.

Note: the Smithing hub describes smelting as part of Smithing, while Furnace Node game data labels the furnace action Smelting. Which skill actually governs furnace level requirements and XP still needs gameplay verification.

Help verify which skill (if any) gains XP from the Textile Workbench, Furnace Node, and Flax Node actions Accepted evidence: XP gain or skill-panel capture at each station.

Herblore Is Not a Skill

The wiki has an Herblore hub built from datamined item and recipe data, but Herblore is not an in-game skill (player-confirmed, 2026-07-05). The hub keeps its datamined potion and vial content under that label. Which skill, if any, governs potion-making is unverified.

Help verify which skill (if any) governs potion-making Accepted evidence: XP gain or skill-panel capture while making a potion.
