How to Obtain

Spirit Shards are crafted with the Mixnometry skill at the Payasan altar, in the snow area east of the desert lake where Payasan NPCs are found, on the eastern side of the desert zone before the bridge to the grass zone (the desert zone's proper in-game name is unconfirmed). Converting Bones requires Mixnometry level 10; each bone yields 2 Spirit Shards. The XP awarded is unconfirmed, as is whether Small Bones also convert. See Mixnometry for the recipe row.

Also dropped by level-21 Skeletons: sometimes 2 × Spirit Shard per kill (verified in-game, July 2026; rate unmeasured). Skeletons are the only known mob that drops shards — see the Skeleton drop table. The skill name is confirmed as one of the game's 15 skills; only its exact in-game capitalization is unverified.
