Equipment Slots
The client's equipment system defines 11 slots (datamine-candidate, client data): head, neck, back, projectile (ammo), mainhand, offhand, chest, legs, hands, feet, and ring. Of these, two currently have no matching item anywhere in the game's catalog: back (cape) and ring. The neck slot was empty until 2026-08-27, when three amulets appeared in the client's equipment manifest — Magician's Amulet, Warrior's Amulet, and Power Amulet — delivering on the 2026-07-07 Patch's "coming soon" teaser for Combat amulets. Cape and ring items still have no equivalent announcement.

* A bow grants Archery XP with any arrow tier (verified in-game, 2026-07-05; observed on the basic Bow, where the evidence is recorded — cross-tier behavior for higher bow tiers is unverified). This may no longer hold. Client data from 2026-08-27 adds an arrow-tier cap to every bow (see below); if that cap is enforced, a bow can no longer be fired with arrows above its tier at all, which would make the cross-tier XP question moot for those combinations. Whether the 2026-07-05 observation still reproduces has not been re-checked in-game.
* Arrow tier gating (client data, 2026-08-27, datamine-candidate). Each bow now carries an <code>ammoRequirement</code> naming the highest arrow tier it accepts, and each arrow carries its own <code>ammo</code> tier. The tier order is bronze 1, iron 2, steel 3, mithril 4, adamant 5, runite 6. Neither field existed in the 2026-07-05 manifest — arrows were ranged-strength-only then. A matching <code>isCompatibleAmmo()</code> check also appeared in the client's combat class, so this looks client-enforced rather than cosmetic.

This is not only a datamine inference: the 2026-07-07 Patch notes state "Archery - rigid arrow requirements for bows" outright. The official note dates the change and the manifest supplies the per-bow limits.

2026-08-27 Client Data: New Tiers, Amulets, and a Broad Rebalance
A fresh read of the live client bundle on 2026-08-27 found the equipment manifest had grown from 59 entries to 102. Nothing was removed. All rows below are datamine-candidate — they come from the client's code and have not been verified in-game. Full capture notes: SankoQuest:Datamine 2026-08-27.
Three new tiers above Steel
Every melee weapon and armour line that previously stopped at Steel now continues through Mithril → Adamantite → Runite. That accounts for 39 of the 43 new entries, and independently confirms the two Adamantite/Mithril pieces already documented from gameplay (Adamantite Helmet, Mithril Leggings) as parts of complete tiers rather than one-offs.
The remaining four new entries are Winged Boots and the three amulets — the first neck-slot items in the game.
Which of them are actually released
Having stats in the manifest is not the same as existing as an item. Checking the 43 new entries against the game's public item catalog on 2026-08-28 separates them cleanly:
* Mithril — all 13 pieces are live in the catalog.
* Adamantite — all 13 pieces are live.
* Runite — none of the 13 are live. Every Runite piece has a full stat block in the client but no catalog entry at all.
* The three amulets are not live either — no catalog entry, and the catalog has no neck-slot category.
* Winged Boots is live (id 87), as expected given it is already obtainable.
This lines up exactly with the 2026-07-07 Patch, which announced "Coming soon as rare drops: New Armor/Weapon Metal Tiers, Combat amulets". That promise has been half delivered: Mithril and Adamantite shipped, Runite and the amulets are built and waiting.
So the practical reading is that Runite is the next equipment tier, its stats are already settled, and it is not yet obtainable by any means. Treat every Runite page and the three amulet pages as documenting unreleased content until one is seen in-game.
That also explains why no acquisition source is known for the amulets: there isn't one yet.

A broad stat rebalance of existing gear
Of the 59 items carried over from the 2026-07-05 manifest, 48 have changed stat blocks. Only 11 are byte-identical: all nine pieces of magic gear (Wizard, Mystic, and Shape hat/robe/skirt), the Staff, and the Wooden Shield.
The changes are not random; several clear patterns run through them:
* Armour gained ranged and magic attack penalties it did not have before. Helmets, chestplates, leggings, gauntlets, boots, shields, and kiteshields previously had no <code>rangedAttack</code>/<code>magicAttack</code> fields at all; most now carry negative values (for example Bronze Chestplate gained <code>rangedAttack -15</code> and <code>magicAttack -30</code>). This is a new trade-off for wearing melee armour, not a simple buff.
* Melee armour defense went up across the board. Bronze Chestplate's stab defense went 11→15, Iron Chestplate's 15→21, and similar increases run through the Bronze/Iron/Steel lines.
* Two-handed swords got faster. Bronze, Iron, and Steel 2hd Swords all moved from <code>attackSpeed</code> 7 to 5, while picking up small magic-attack and defense penalties. This is the clearest candidate for the "2h sword rebalancing" named in the 2026-07-17 Patch notes, though the manifest itself carries no dates so the connection is an inference.
* Katana stab attack was cut hard. Bronze 5→1, Iron 6→2, Steel 7→3. The new Mithril/Adamantite/Runite katanas continue that same low-stab pattern (5/6/7), so the older values look like they were retconned to fit a consistent katana design rather than nerfed in isolation.
* The Ranger set was substantially reworked. Ranger Chestplate's stab defense flipped from -11 to +18, and Ranger Gauntlets lost its odd <code>rangedStrength: 1</code> field entirely. The old negative values read like a bug that has since been fixed.
The 2026-07-05 table above has deliberately not been overwritten — it is kept as the historical record of what the July build shipped, since several pages cite those values. Where the two disagree, the 2026-08-27 figures are current.

Equipment

Equipment pages use the item catalog as the canonical item list. Combat stats, requirements, repair or upgrade paths, and exact bonuses need gameplay or official data before they become canonical.

Equipment Stats (client data)

According to client data (July 2026): the sigma.sankoquest.com bundle (captured 2026-07-05) contains a full equipment stat manifest. The table below lists every item in that manifest — 36 armour pieces, 20 weapons, and 3 ammunition types. All rows are Unverified: these values come from the game client's code (chunk c12a64812e41c536.js, module 236847, beautified lines 426–955) and have not been verified in-game. They are distinct from the verified stats above, which come from gameplay.

Notes on the table:

 • "—" means the stat is not present in the client manifest for that item; the client treats missing stats as 0.
 • Ranged def collapses the client's three separate light/standard/heavy defence stats into one column, because every item in the extracted manifest carries identical values for all three. Per the client's bonus mapping, light/standard/heavy appears to be the defence axis used against ranged attacks — see Combat formulas (client data).
 • Speed and Range are the raw attackSpeed and range values stored on weapons; unarmed combat defaults to speed 4, range 1 in client data.
 • The client manifest contains no equip level requirements — equip gates are enforced server-side — so the bow-tier and armour requirements discussed under Archery Equipment Notes below cannot be confirmed or refuted from client data.
 • Negative values are penalties (for example, melee armour's negative magic defence and wizard robes' negative melee defence).

Archery Equipment Notes

 • A bow grants Archery XP with any arrow tier (verified in-game, 2026-07-05; observed on the basic Bow, where the evidence is recorded — cross-tier behavior for higher bow tiers is unverified).
 • Arrow tier gating (client data, 2026-08-27, datamine-candidate). Each bow now carries an ammoRequirement naming the highest arrow tier it accepts, and each arrow carries its own ammo tier. The tier order is bronze 1, iron 2, steel 3, mithril 4, adamant 5, runite 6. Neither field existed in the 2026-07-05 manifest — arrows were ranged-strength-only then. A matching isCompatibleAmmo() check also appeared in the client's combat class, so this looks client-enforced rather than cosmetic.

This is not only a datamine inference: the 2026-07-07 Patch notes state "Archery - rigid arrow requirements for bows" outright. The official note dates the change and the manifest supplies the per-bow limits.

Bow Highest arrow tier accepted
Bow Iron
Oak Bow Steel
Cherry Bow Mithril
Glacial Bow Adamant
 • The bow tiers sit at levels 5 (Bow), 15 (Oak Bow), 20 or 25 (Cherry Bow), and 25 Archery to use for the Glacial Bow (verified in-game, July 2026). The other tiers' values are unconfirmed, including whether each is an Archery or Crafting level — see Fletching.
 • As heard in-game (2026-07-05, unconfirmed): the Ranger Chestplate is currently the only obtainable piece of the ranger armor set.

2026-08-27 Client Data: New Tiers, Amulets, and a Broad Rebalance

A fresh read of the live client bundle on 2026-08-27 found the equipment manifest had grown from 59 entries to 102. Nothing was removed. All rows below are Unverified — they come from the client's code and have not been verified in-game.

 • Mithril — all 13 pieces are live in the catalog.
 • Adamantite — all 13 pieces are live.
 • Runite — none of the 13 are live. Every Runite piece has a full stat block in the client but no catalog entry at all.
 • The three amulets are not live either — no catalog entry, and the catalog has no neck-slot category.
 • Winged Boots is live (id 87), as expected given it is already obtainable.

 • Armour gained ranged and magic attack penalties it did not have before. Helmets, chestplates, leggings, gauntlets, boots, shields, and kiteshields previously had no rangedAttack/magicAttack fields at all; most now carry negative values (for example Bronze Chestplate gained rangedAttack -15 and magicAttack -30). This is a new trade-off for wearing melee armour, not a simple buff.
 • Melee armour defense went up across the board. Bronze Chestplate's stab defense went 11→15, Iron Chestplate's 15→21, and similar increases run through the Bronze/Iron/Steel lines.
 • Two-handed swords got faster. Bronze, Iron, and Steel 2hd Swords all moved from attackSpeed 7 to 5, while picking up small magic-attack and defense penalties. This is the clearest candidate for the "2h sword rebalancing" named in the 2026-07-17 Patch notes, though the manifest itself carries no dates so the connection is an inference.
 • Katana stab attack was cut hard. Bronze 5→1, Iron 6→2, Steel 7→3. The new Mithril/Adamantite/Runite katanas continue that same low-stab pattern (5/6/7), so the older values look like they were retconned to fit a consistent katana design rather than nerfed in isolation.
 • The Ranger set was substantially reworked. Ranger Chestplate's stab defense flipped from -11 to +18, and Ranger Gauntlets lost its odd rangedStrength: 1 field entirely. The old negative values read like a bug that has since been fixed.

The 2026-07-05 table above has deliberately not been overwritten — it is kept as the historical record of what the July build shipped, since several pages cite those values. Where the two disagree, the 2026-08-27 figures are current.
