Shard Crafting (Mixnometry)
Five of the seven shards are crafted with the Mixnometry skill — one of the game's 15 skills (verified in-game) — at altars: one in the grass zone by the church and the nearby level-12 Goblin camp, and one in the Payasan area — the snow area east of the desert lake, where Payasan NPCs are found (the desert zone's proper in-game name is unconfirmed). The skill name is confirmed; only its exact in-game capitalization is unverified. XP values and most quantities are unknown. See Mixnometry for the recipe rows and evidence.
