Sanko Pinball

From SankoQuest Wiki

Overview

Sanko Pinball is a pinball minigame played at an Arcade Machine in the world. It is the only minigame known to exist in SankoQuest, and it is undocumented anywhere else — it was found in client data on 2026-10-04 and has not yet been played and written up here.

The world map marks minigame locations with their own icon (see Locations), which until now pointed at nothing this wiki could identify. The arcade machine is what that marker is for.

The machine

The arcade machine is an interactive world object, added to the client's object registry between 2026-08-27 and 2026-10-04. Its interaction verb is play.

It reuses the slot-machine model (sanko/slotmachine.glb) — the same asset used by the two slot machines already recorded in Duel Town. So an arcade machine will look like a slot machine in the world, which is worth knowing when hunting for one.

Help verify where the Arcade Machine stands — the world map's Minigame marker should show it Accepted evidence: opening the world map, or finding the machine in the world.

How it plays

Read from the game's own code, 2026-10-04:

  • Three balls per game. The display reads "Balls: n/3", counting down as balls are lost. The game ends after the third.
  • Three bumpers, named Fire, Water and Earth — the same elemental theme as Shards and Magic.
  • Each bumper hit scores 10 points. That is the only scoring event in the code; there is no multiplier, jackpot or bonus target.
  • Two flippers, left and right.
  • The table is 320 × 440 and the ball starts at the lower right before launch.

Controls

Action Input
Launch the ball Space
Left flipper Left arrow, or the on-screen "← Left" button
Right flipper Right arrow, or the on-screen "Right →" button
Close the ✕ button

On-screen buttons sit alongside the keyboard controls, so the game is playable on touch devices as well.

What is not known

The code contains no reward of any kind — no payout, no item, no XP, no high-score table, and nothing written back to the server. As far as the client is concerned the score exists only while the window is open.

That does not prove there is no reward, since anything server-side would be invisible here, as drop tables and XP always have been. But nothing in the client suggests one.

Help verify whether Sanko Pinball gives any reward, score tracking, or XP, and what a good score looks like Accepted evidence: playing a game at an Arcade Machine.
