Trimmed Armour

From SankoQuest Wiki

Overview

Trimmed armour is a set of cosmetic armour variants added by the 2026-10-02 Patch, dropped by The Sankeon Colossus — one of the new Chance Encounters, which the notes say brings "new treasures and trimmed armour for those who challenge it".

Each piece is named with a (t) suffix, for example Bronze Helmet (t), described simply as "Trimmed bronze helmet".

The set

Fifteen pieces: the five armour slots across the Bronze, Iron and Steel tiers.

Slot Bronze Iron Steel
Head Bronze Helmet (t) (600) Iron Helmet (t) (605) Steel Helmet (t) (610)
Chest Bronze Chestplate (t) (601) Iron Chestplate (t) (606) Steel Chestplate (t) (611)
Hands Bronze Gauntlets (t) (602) Iron Gauntlets (t) (607) Steel Gauntlets (t) (612)
Legs Bronze Leggings (t) (603) Iron Leggings (t) (608) Steel Leggings (t) (613)
Feet Bronze Boots (t) (604) Iron Boots (t) (609) Steel Boots (t) (614)

The ids run cleanly from 600 to 614, tier by tier. There are no trimmed Mithril, Adamantite or Runite pieces, and no trimmed shields or weapons.

Trimmed armour is purely cosmetic

A trimmed piece has exactly the same stats as the untrimmed original. This is worth stating plainly because the surface evidence suggests otherwise, and reading it wrong would be an easy mistake.

None of the fifteen trimmed items appears in the client's equipment stat manifest. On this game that has so far meant "no stat bonuses at all" — every confirmed cosmetic (Beret, Straw Hat, Hamburger Hat, Uggs Boots) is absent from it for exactly that reason. Taken at face value, that would make trimmed armour strictly worse than the plain armour it is based on, which would be a strange thing to award for beating a boss.

It is not what happens. When the client builds its stat lookup it falls back to the untrimmed name — it strips a trailing " (t)" and looks the item up again. So Bronze Helmet (t) resolves to Bronze Helmet's stat block and wears identically.

So trimmed armour is a pure appearance reward: same protection, different look.
