Duels are a player-vs-player system involving wagers/stakes, first confirmed to exist by the 2026-07-07 Patch's changelog rather than by firsthand play — no first-hand duel has been documented on this wiki yet.
What Is Known
The patch notes describe duels as having: an accept step for both players before a duel starts; a wager or stake that is held for the duel and returned on a stalemate; a restriction that blocks trading and starting new challenges while a duel is active; and a trade/duel window that can be closed with Escape. Beyond this, the mechanics of a duel itself (how one is initiated, combat rules, win/loss conditions, and what happens to the wager on a win) are unrecorded.
