The client's registry of interactive world objects gained eleven new entries in this build, and most map onto steps in this quest:

* '''The client defines a
desert-adventure
content pack''' pointing at its own entity, NPC, and scene files, confirming this quest is a self-contained content set rather than additions to the base world. The quest registry itself is still exactly three quests, so no fourth quest is staged.
=== What does not line up ===
Three of the new conveyor objects — a sorter, a canning control, and a valve — have no counterpart in the walkthrough, which never mentions canning or valves. Either the factory has interactions this quest does not use, or there is more to the factory than the quest route covers.
Separately, the capture contains a scene named '''"desert adventure basement"''' with roughly 120 placed objects, themed as an underground alchemy lab — crystals, arcane pipe stacks, a mana condenser, a rune pipe rack, an alchemical pressure vessel, cave mushrooms. That does not match the industrial canning line the conveyor objects describe, nor anything in this walkthrough. It may be the cavern of steps 5–6 dressed differently than remembered, a part of the factory the quest route skips, or unreleased content. It is recorded as an open question rather than folded into the walkthrough.

Overview

Desert Adventure was one of the three quests listed in the Quest Journal since at least July 2026, and its stated objective — "Find the hidden oasis in the desert." — sat as this wiki's longest-running open bounty: the community was notably secretive about it, and no public solution was known for months. That changed 2026-08-26, when a full written walkthrough credited to @semkr began circulating in the community Telegram channel; it was followed and confirmed step-by-step in-game the same day. The quest is now fully documented below.

The Desert Adventure journal detail view, captured 2026-07-05, from before the walkthrough was known: status "Not started" and the objective "Find the hidden oasis in the desert."

Objective

The journal entry states one objective, verbatim (verified in-game, July 2026):

Find the hidden oasis in the desert.

Completing the quest below unlocks access to the Oasis — see Locations for its confirmed position.

Requirements

  • 5 Strength
  • Ability to defeat a high-level enemy — the guide states this generically as "a level 80 enemy." The quest itself has the player fight a Mutant Slimer (step 12 below), which Alex's own in-game combat log puts at level 82; this requirement most likely refers to that fight rather than a separate, unnamed enemy, but that reading is an inference, not stated outright in the guide.
  • 3 Tin Ore
  • 2 Logs
  • A few free inventory slots

Recommended, not required:

The Tin Ore and Logs are consumed during the quest itself (step 9); they do not need to be gathered in advance beyond having them in inventory at that point.

Rewards and Unlocks

  • Access to the Oasis
  • Access to Jesse's Factory
  • Not a completion reward — separately, processing 99 Blue Slime in the factory and then speaking to Walt awards Winged Boots (verified in-game, 2026-08-27). This is an ongoing post-quest grind, not something granted on turning in step 14's single Blue Slime.
The @semkr walkthrough words this as "bring 99 blue slime to Jesse". Running it gives the boots from Walt, after the slime is processed. The first-hand result is the one recorded here.

Client-Data Corroboration (2026-08-27)

This walkthrough was written from gameplay, following a community guide, with no reference to the game's internals. A datamine of the client on 2026-08-27 independently backs up several of its steps — the two were produced from unrelated sources, so their agreement is worth recording.

The client's registry of interactive world objects gained eleven new entries in this build, and most map onto steps in this quest:

Client object Action Model Matching step
desert_clue examine sewage_pipe Step 1 — the pipe on the Desert Lake's north side
trapdoor open strange_metal_trapdoor Step 4 — the hatch in Apache's south-eastern building
ladder climb ground_ladder Plausibly step 11's climb, though the walkthrough calls it vines
conveyor_log_furnace fuel conveyor_furnace_1x2 Step 9 — the Beer Furnace, which consumes Logs
conveyor_feed_assembly load conveyor_sorter_1x1 Step 9 — the Feed Assembly, which consumes Tin Ore
conveyor_furnace inspect conveyor_furnace_1x2 Step 14 — the Reagent furnace
desert_blue_vat inspect blue_vat_2x2 Plausibly where Blue Slime is processed for Winged Boots
conveyor_sorter, conveyor_canning_control, conveyor_valve — / activate / turn conveyor parts No documented step — see below

Two further points from the same capture:

  • Greentown Teleport requires Magic 31. The @semkr guide recommends "31 magic" without explaining the number; this is where it comes from. The guide's other recommendation, "Teleport to Apache", is Apache Teleport at Magic 25. See Magic.
  • The client defines a desert-adventure content pack pointing at its own entity, NPC, and scene files, confirming this quest is a self-contained content set rather than additions to the base world. The quest registry itself is still exactly three quests, so no fourth quest is staged.

What does not line up

Three of the new conveyor objects — a sorter, a canning control, and a valve — have no counterpart in the walkthrough, which never mentions canning or valves. Either the factory has interactions this quest does not use, or there is more to the factory than the quest route covers.

Separately, the capture contains a scene named "desert adventure basement" with roughly 120 placed objects, themed as an underground alchemy lab — crystals, arcane pipe stacks, a mana condenser, a rune pipe rack, an alchemical pressure vessel, cave mushrooms.

Help verify what the conveyor sorter, canning control, and valve do in-game, and whether the "desert adventure basement" scene corresponds to the cavern, another part of Jesse's Factory, or something not yet released Accepted evidence: exploring Jesse's Factory and the cavern and recording every interactive object.

Unresolved: Pre-Walkthrough Hint Material

Before this walkthrough was known, this wiki documented four NPC dialogue lines (from Buns Kev, Buns Detec, Buns Orange, and Payasan NPCs) that players read as hints toward Desert Adventure, plus a report that Buns Detec asks to be brought Crushed Energy Weed. None of that material appears anywhere in the now-fully-confirmed 15-step walkthrough above. It is kept below as a historical record, but its actual relationship to this quest — if any — is now unresolved: it may be unrelated flavor dialogue, a red herring, or tied to some other unconfirmed feature. Treat the walkthrough above as the authoritative source for how to complete Desert Adventure.

Bring Detec crushed weed (unresolved relationship to this quest)

Unverified

Kev — at the desert bank:

Kev: A clue is just an object that has started believing in itself.
Verified

Detec — near the desert bank; the NPC resembles a detective:

Detec: If I knew, the case would know that I knew. Then where would we be? Surrounded by evidence with motive.
Verified

Orange — location not recorded:

Orange: Walk carefully. This village has the expression of a witness.
Verified

Payasan NPCs — the snow area east of the desert lake:

Payasan: Payasan is the waiting. Paya pulls rain from no-rain, damp from no-damp. Endless. Not for your hands.
